Sakuyu swore he wouldn’t forgive Leon, but at the meantime he’s drawn in by Leon’s charms and sense of loneliness…

Comment:

Latin mafia from Buenos Aires x Japanese police detective from Kanagawa ^^

This drama has been on my wish list for a while. But after Hamada’s disappointing performance in Koushi Kakka no Himitsu Gaikou(公使閣下の秘密外交) (my personal opinion only ;-)), I really hoped he would do better in this one. And sure enough, I’m not disappointed at all.

The story is a typical master-slave setting. I have to say Hamada-san’s portrayal of Leon has definitely made the character more likable. Regardless of being the seme or uke, His deep magnetic voice has always been played well with tough characters, like the handsome strong willed Shuuichi(uke) in Mahiru no Tsuki (真昼の月), and Leon(seme) in Saudade.😄

Toriumi Kousuke is also performing well as expected. His panting voice is so lovely, as long as it’s not lasting forever. *laugh*

The BGM is so wonderful in this drama. The Argentine Tango has been the main part of the storyline. When Sakuya and Leon first met in the bar, Leon asked Sakuya to dance Tango with him. Near the end of drama, Leon told Sakuya that it was not the first time they met. He said he first met Sakuya in Japan when he was 7 years old (Sakuya was 5 at the time) and danced tango together. They had promised to come to Buenos Aires together one day and dance again. OMG! I was so moved by this little story and felt my heart started to melt…but…but…WHAT!!! I was totally fooled by him, just like Sakuya did. LOL It turned out that he was just joking to get Sakuya to show his tender side. *sigh*

Part 1 has left many mysteries. Why Sakuya’s brother came to Argentina? What had happened between his brother and the Mafia? Why did Leon never take off his cloth in front of Sakuya, even during sex? I’m sure they will be concluded in part 2, which will be released in the 25th of June! Yay!

Overall I like this drama and I’m looking forward to drama part 2.
